2020 Year In Review

This year has challenged millions of people and businesses alike due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The LodgeLink team would like to say thank you for your business. We appreciate the opportunity to help you manage your workforce accommodations with our leading technology platform.

In a year with so many challenges and regulatory change, we supported our customers in several innovative ways and will continue to do so heading into 2021.

Even More Properties to Choose From

LodgeLink’s platform continues to be the fastest growing ecosystem of hotels and lodges in North America. We're continually adding properties to our platform and you can now gain access to 50,000 hotels and 10 million rooms throughout Canada and the United States.

This year, we also implemented a global distribution system (GDS) that allowed us to have real-time access to hotel inventory with our network of suppliers. 

A Visual Upgrade

In 2020, we improved the LodgeLink website in a variety of ways. We upgraded the look and feel of the site to make it more informative and easier to use.

Growing Team

The LodgeLink team grew in 2020. We added more team members to our Business Development, Product, Finance & Operations and Marketing teams.

We announced the appointment of Vincent Campana as our Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Vincent added a wealth of knowledge to the LodgeLink senior leadership team with years of experience in the global travel management business.

New and Enhanced Platform Functionality

Over the past year, we've continued to listen to our customers and enhance our platform based on their feedback. We made improvements to our mapping tool and reporting functionality and introduced some new payment processes.

Searching made simple

We made it even easier for you to find the best property to stay at when travelling for work. The mapping feature now allows you to search by postal code or zip code in addition to city, coordinates, unique Well IDs or brand.

Reporting Improvements

Since we launched our reporting functionality last fall, we've made improvements in order to help you further simplify the complexities of workforce travel. It now includes unreconciled stays and the ability to review by cost tracking code or project ID.

Payment ID & Tracking Codes

We introduced improvements to the payment process. There are now two separate types of codes: Payment IDs and Tracking Codes. These codes give you more flexibility with your spend, simplifies the payment and accounting process, and gives you more control in managing your costs.

Working Together During a Pandemic

The health and safety of our clients, staff, and partners remained top of mind as we navigated the global COVID-19 pandemic. We monitored and kept our clients updated on new information during the rapidly changing situation.
We also built a sense of community and devotion to our customers by hosting several webinars featuring how suppliers, customers and buyers are returning to work and how to better prepare for the challenges ahead.
